i have a navigation made up of images…
what id like to do is to be able to have a drop-down menu come out when you roll over any of the images…
a quick example i can think of is on http://www.myspace.com/ …rolling over the “more” tab will make a “drop-down” / “pop-up” menu visible…
i am using dreamweaver CS3 and i heard this can be done by using the “spry” feature…
i tried working with it but it doesnt want to work with me…
if i click on the navigation button (image) and go to Insert > Spry > Spry Menu Bar > and add either a vertical / horizontal layout, it adds the whole menu inside the cell where the image is and therefore distorting / breaking the whole website layout… this is not what i want…
all i want to happen is when the user rolls over / clicks on one of the navigation buttons (images), a drop-down menu will appear… when the user rolls out, the drop-down menu should disappear…
i know this can be done with the “behaviors” in previous versions of Dreamweaver… but i want to learn how to work this Spry thing… how can i make this work??
