Hi! I’m new here I use Dreamweaver CS4. I have a navigation bar at the top of my page which I created using the insert->image objects->navigation bar feature in DW. One of my navigation buttons, however, has a drop-down menu (using the insert->layout objects->spry menu bar tool). The drop down menu itself is fine and dandy, but instead of a text element as the main heading, I want to use an image. So far, I’ve figured out how to use a rollover image in that space (when you mouse over the image, it turns black words to blue words), but I would like it to be a stationary image when the actual page is selected. Getting to the point: For some reason, when I try to use the regular sized versions of my buttons, it throws off the entire layout of the page (it moves all the divs down, repositions other images, etc). It does the same thing with the “selected page” image. Here is an illustration:
When I am on the Products page, I would like it to have that blue button highlight like the Software page (I’ve made the blue button products button, but like I said, it messes everything up)
I hope that was somewhat understandable. Let me know if you need any code to further understand the problem. Thank you so much!
