Problem with .eps files

Does anybody know why this happens? I scanned a b/w drawing, then used Adobe Streamline to convert it to a .eps file. When I open the file in Adobe Illustrator it works fine. However, when I import it to Flash XP, parts of the drawing are missing…

I tried to save it in different vector formats, but the result is the same.

Is this a bug and is there a way around it?

out of Illustrator -

go to File > Export > and choose the “.swf” extension.

Then in Flash -

go to File > Import or Import to Library.
