Problem!

Yo guys & gals,
just noticed a lil’ pb:
as the forum has moved,
my old cookie got eaten,
means is no longer good here.

So I start looking for a “log in” feature and…
either I missed it, or it doesn’t exist!

Means that unles you post something,
you can’t get logged!
A bit of a nuisance if you just wanna browse!

I found the log in at the bottom right of the kirupaforum main page…

unless I misunderstood your question…

Rev

ditto here…

Arrête le vin rouge, Joe, c’est mauvais pour la santé… :crazy:

ha ha!

le vin rouge…

lol

Rev

Well, Rev, I must tell you I’ve just drunk a most excellent Saint-Estephe, I almost fainted… (-:

I always click right on my userCP when I come to the forum, it asks me to log in to get in, so I do. So I never had a problem.

pom:

funny, tonight I drank… a 1995 Montagne Saint Emilion - Rocher Calon…

I am jealous just thinking about the great vin rouge you must have access to… Saint Estephe is one of my fav appellations.

just curious, what does an early '80s Chateau Margeaux (my all time fav is '82) go for over there? Its about $400 a bottle here…

Rev

non vinum flacidum…

ack… I thought I was blowing a load (of cash) every time I spend 40 dollars on a bottle of wine.

I’m not sure if I could enjoy a 400 dollar bottle. That’s just too good for me.

I’ve paid $250/bottle, but that was my limit…

When I worked for a wine store, I rec’d 2 bottles of '82 Margeaux as a gift…

all because I didn’t break any computers… that day anyway…

…wonderful…

Rev

well… if I’m ever offered that vintage I’ll be sure to try some out. Sometimes I visit people who have discriminating tastes for wine. I’m hooked currently on Stag’s Leap… 40 bucks a bottle. Good stuff for a californian merlott.

wow…

$40 for a CA wine… It has to be a winery I know is fan ****ing tastic for me to spend $40 on CA wine. Don’t get me wrong, I have friends who do, but I happen to favor the Red Grape from France… If I’m going to spend $40 on wine, it will usually be French. I just like the depth of flavors (I think it is called terra noir, or black earth).

I feel like such a snob…

Rev

“…either I missed it, or it doesn’t exist…”

Ok, me guilty, it was hiding there at the bottom
(someone stole it and replaced it by a “log out”…lol)

How come you guys still drink French wine, I thought the USA
were boycotting all products from over here? :slight_smile:

Sure is an expensive drug, but sooo good.

What am I supposed to do,
a German in Paris,
drink beer to keep up my countries traditions,
or switch to wine coz it tastes better? lol

function getDrunk(alcohol){
switch(alcohol)
case “wine”:
emptyTheBottle();
break;
case “beer”:
getMoreCans();
break;
default “drunk”:
bable(nonsense);
exit;
}

I could never give up the Red Grape from France…

it would be like giving up a child… worse even…

Rev

I find it silly to boycott a country because they don’t agree with us going in and killing thousands of innocents along with the guilty. France is just being France. It’s not like we should expect them to act any differently than they have over the last 40 years. Nothing for nothing, but I respect people who take a stance against the “patriotic” American opinion. This world is made up of various opinions… if it weren’t it would be awefuly boring. I say let the French oppose us on this. It create dialogue. It’s not like they’re actions are really going to stop us anyway. 4141 has already been violated. The French opinion is meaningless in the face of that.

as for 40 dollar cali wines… I’m with you there Rev. I just happen to have found Stag’s Leap and I really enjoy it. Usually I buy their 16 dollar “Hawk’s Crest” label though. It’s not nearly as good… but it’ll do in a pinch and it has a much more reasonable price tag.

What’s wrong with a nice, friendly bottle of vodka? :slight_smile:

Mmmm, vodka and lemonade mixers… Mmmm. :slight_smile:

Vodka is fine, and so is beer, but none of those will ever come close to a very good wine. I’ll check the prices, rev, as I’m not sure, but I’m quite certain that it’s fairly expensive :*(

David >> true, true…

Ah… nothing like a Tequiza (yes, spelled correctly)… 2003…good year.

Looks good Montoya: http://www.tequiza.com/tequiza.html

Nothing better than a good, cheap Milwaukee Best… actually the only thing better is having 4 of them in a funnel… only 9.59 for a 24-pack…

I like Absolut Vodka and Montezuma Tequilla. We ususally just drink anything that is put in front of us tho…

LOL!

don’t worry Jubba, that will stop… usually one alcohol at a time…

The first to go was tequila (uuurp), then Jack Daniels(urrrrrp), then Gin… Ketel One vodka and Red Wine are all that remain…
