Hello. This is my first post here, I’ve been lurking for a while, but now there’s a problem which I can’t seem to solve.
First of all, my system specs:
Asus K8N with nForce 3 250
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
GeForce 6600 GT
2 ATA133 disks
Windows XP SP1
The comp has been working perfectly up until now. I was just playing some GTA:SA and all of a sudden the game froze and I had to close it with ctrl+alt+del and then the whole system froze. So I shut it down the hard way. When I tried to start it up again, the fan worked, the lights on the comp were OK but the monitor was just black (and the green light on it blinking). Even the CD ROM could close and open. The comp didn’t even beep once, like it usually does when you start it up. It’s all just black.
So, any suggestions? What’s to blame here?
