[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]I work at the elearning centre within the Maltese Education Division. Our unit primarily produces educational software realted to various levels in the primary school sector. However, we found some difficulties in text encoding realted to the maltese keyboard. The maltese keyboard is set from the regional settings , control panel. The Maltese text is unicode (UTF 8). [/SIZE][/FONT]
[SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]When the keyboard is set to maltese, and text is inputted in Flash, the maltese characters such as: ġ,ħ,ż,ċ[/FONT][FONT=Calibri] are correctly displayed in the static text tool, even when it is exported to swf. However, when an input text box is featured, and it is exported to swf, the inputted maltese text is not correctly displayed. Do you have any suggestions? [/FONT][/SIZE]
