I’m trying to spice up the resume a bit, so I exported it as a .pdf from word and then did some simple stuff to it in illustrator as a .pdf…
but…a designer friend I respect said he thinks u should always send your resume in .doc format over .pdf format because the employer might not have acrobat reader and might not be able to open the file.
is this true? is there a more professional, more accepted, safer, or more common format choice of the two?
