Is it possible to export an AS SWF file into an AVI? Everytime I try, the AS never plays in the AVI… I am trying to export my signature with the fading grid, to avi… from AVI I will import it into ImageReady adn output it to GIF… 
Why do that? You’ll have HUGE file size making a gif out of something like that! Why not just keep it a .swf and have your sig in .swf format…much simpler.
( I think it is possible…I remember doing something like that by accident before…probably some option you have to select in the export menu…)
he probably wants to use it in a multimedia presentation or a video, but like i said in your previous post you cannot use AS in a avi since AS consists of updating on a frame event and quicktime doesn handle this sort of actions so no you cannot use AS on a avi or anytoerh type of exported file other than swf to my knowledge, send me your file maybe i can look at it and find an alternative way to get it working
you can also try exporting it as an animated gif from flash

It’s a signature for a Website, and an SWF isn’t allowed. I need to make it a GIF, and I’ve done it before… jsut that my past SWF’s haven’t been with AS…
yeah well it’s just that gif’s get pretty big. I thought he was gonna make some big swf into a gif…anyways my thing was probably in a different format…not really sure…
