Ok, I finally won an auction on ebay

if you read, it says:

Now, does this mean I can buy a PCMCIA card that they use for laptops, and use it for the internet?

And what I want to do, is try to find unprotected WAP in my area, as well as in places like McDonalds by my house.
My friend said for some reason I can’t do this, but Im pretty sure I can… correct??
