I am hoping I can find some assistance from someone out there that can help me in understanding how to get information from Radio Buttons, and use the information to re-direct the user to a defined portion of the time-line.
I have attached the .fla of what I am referring to, but here’s a brief synopsis.
The end user see’s a screen and has two sets of choices to make. Top row has three choices/radio buttons in one group (A, B, and C), and the bottom row has two choices/radiobuttons in one group to choose from (A, and B).
From the configuration of the two groups (user selects A, and A for their configuration) will send them to a defined portion of the timeline that will display a movie informing the end user how to setup their machine.
I believe I have the buttons setup and defined correctly, just not really sure how to get the information and use it to re-direct the end user. I believe I have to use a ‘Submit’ button, but not really familiar with AS that much, to know how to get the information and do something with it.
I am developing in Flash MX, and would appreciate any and all help that I can get to complete this task.
