I had a question about slavery and everything in the United States. It seems like all we hear of from history back then are about white people and black people. Well, what about hispanics, asians, and pacific islanders? Were there asian slaves? Where they discriminated against? I know this is really random, but I’ve been wondering about this for a while and it seems like in every textbook and every historical website the world was black and white back then.
EDIT: I’m talking about the United States, sorry for not clarifying that earlier.
