heres a question maybe someone will be able to help me with.
Me and a friend wish to start up a new web site offering the same sort of service as voodoochilli dot net but taking thing to the next step, a modern design database…allowing users to join, adding details such as location/style and uploading 10 or so images which can be viewed as thumbnails/buttons, images would also need keywords which can all be used when someone wants to search the site for a particular image or user…also all of this has to be done with the user in mind, any new user can register at the site and add there own work with ease.
Also, it would need to be easy to update (for the admin/users), things such as interviews, artist of the week and news all would need to be updated daily/weekly.
Now, I have next to no knowledge of flash, but am a professional illustrator with many years in the industry, so im not completely clueless on design and such.
Regardless of design how hard is it to do something like this with flash, is it unrealistic to buy a flash template (do you know of a flash template that can do this?), how much would a freelancer charge for a service such as this (bearing in mind that this is not going to be a money making thing), or am i being completely unrealistic in thinking that something like this is possible?
