Does anybody recommend any books for those who are beginners to Flash?
Just curious - Posting simple problems for you guys might make you a bit frustrated… I know you guys like a challenge.

I use Flash MX Bible by Reinhardt and Dowd.
It has code, good examples, CD, and things that are new and improved for MX that were not in 5

I find people who have read the books knowing what level they are at… normally have the most realistic opinions.

another good book is the Visual QuickStart Guide. i own a copy of the flash mx visual quickpro, which is good once you understand the quickstart.
