Recording Studio

Hello

How do u like my beta version for a studio website @ www.starfruit.se
The .jpg images are kind of cheesy with their poor quality, and the content of the site isn’t all done yet, I want to know if the overall design can work…

Hey man the style is ok, but the scroller doesnt fit in.

the functionality looks good, but the design looks like its from the 90’s
sorry just my opinion
i like it though!
not bad at all

the reflection has been done a bazillion times. good try though. you pulled it off pretty nicely, but it has been done better in the past.

hey, it looks pretty good. but i agree with spad3s, the scroller doesn’t fit in with the rest of the design:(
design though, i find it cool:)

Hey Henxon ::

Good start man =)

Here are my thoughts.

  1. It’s really outdated, I feel I’m viewing a flash training menu for a job back in the 90’s. I feel you have successfully designed this site, however it’s too “vintage” for my tastes.

  2. The news or welcome text box is an eye-soar. It’s really the focal point of the mainpage, however it’s too much and is uninteresting to me.

  3. Again, I feel your potential and skills to have a great flash site are there, however I think you should rethink your design, as this site just looks out-dated.

  4. Recording studios, like design have to be known for their unique and cutting edge industry work. Apply this theory to your website. Collaborate the two together and create something that really speaks of your recording studio. This website you have to me dosn’t really speak of what your recording studio is or does. Granted I know what it does, but do I really ?

Brand your studio, make me believe what the mood, style, and feel of your studio is. You nail this in your design, and your good as a platinum record man.

Good Luck =)

Maybe there’s too much bevel and emboss going around in there :).
I like the “reflections” on the floor.
Put some padding to the text. It comes too close to the cotainer. Feels like it’s not enough space in there for the text.
