Run Illustrator in OSX

Hi

I got a problem after installing Illustrator 10 on Mac OSX. I formated my OSX and try to reinstall all applications I installed before. For some reasons, I can install Illustrator 10 from my backup CD without problems, but can’t run it. There is an error page said that’ can’t run it’. Who can tell me how should I do?

try reinstall from the regular cd and not a back up…Or get a PC…j/k
