Just today, I did a clean install of Windows on one drive and right off the bat it had Trojans. That means one of my other virused drives must have leaked the trojan onto my clean Windows drive. So I decided to reinstall Windows again with the virused drive detached and I don’t have trojans anymore.
If I have AVG Anti-virus and Malbyte’s Malware Remover both turned on, is it safe to connect the virused harddrive again and clean it up? Or are some of the viruses going to get past security and leak onto my clean drive again? I have years worth of work on that drive…
