Scanning in sketches artwork from large paper?

I was wondering, how you guys scan in your work when it’s usually larger than a scanner ? Even Kinko’s doesn’t have a scanner larger than 8 1/2 x 11 area I don’t think… I guess you all scan in piece by piece then combine in photoshop ?
