OMG it is an ID. You show it to rent a movie at Blockbuster. You show it to get a library card, you show it to buy liquor (if you look young enough).
To set the story straight on airlines, you have to show your boarding pass and ID to get ot the gates. I have flown a lot in the last month and had to in Houston, Austin, Newark and San Juan Puerto Rico.
Hey, if you don’t want to show your ID, then don’t fly. I don’t remember there being an Amendment that gave us the right to fly commercial airlines. I am on that plane with you and I want to know that you are who you say you are.
