Simple Action Question

Hi, I’m designing a flash SWF that will have buttons in it that activate certain files such as, jpg’s, websites in HTML, other SWF’s. It is a digital portfolio. I was just wondering what action do I give a button if say the file extension name is JPG1.
From what I know right now I would put Goto “JPG1”. But somehow it seems very wrong.

As well unless it does it automatically I would like all these files to open up in a new window, when I say this I mean other SWF’s that are opened from within the main SWF.

on the button put:


on(press){
    getURL("thePathToTheImage.jpg", "_blank");
}

Thanks for the reply, but I can’t get it to work. The file is currently on my desktop in a folder called Portfolio_Work. The File that the button is trying to access is called S2P2.swf. This is what I wrote in the Actions for the button

on(press){
getURL(“Portfolio_Work/S2P2.swf”, “_blank”);
}

If anyone can tell me what Im doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated.
