I think its a sweet design, your image effects are cool nice job :thumb: maybe give us a lil anamation when your preloading ? I dunno its not bad either way.

Is there supposed to be a pop up or something when i click those thumbnails under the section ‘play’?

buttons are cool too.

yeah, the thumbnails aren’t working for me. everything else is really nice.

I like it alot although it just seems a bit plain.

EDIT:ahhh saw the earth page designs took awhile to load looks badass tho i agree about the preloader.

Oooo, very nice! I really like the updates section, very sweet idea! I like the buttons a lot too, ecspecially in the learn section. The navigation is a little confusing but in the same I like how it works. Perhaps brighten the navigation up in the find section. I agree with other comments made. Preloader animation and the buttons in the play section don’t work.
Everything else looks awesome! Sweet job!

I think I’ve fixed the buttons, thanks for pointing that out to me :slight_smile: I plan to make the preloader a little more interesting at some point, too.

Edit: ok, the button’s aren’t working. Not sure what’s wrong, I’m using the script straight off of kirupa’s tutorial…

The Flash icon on the opening page is reeeeeeaaaalllly reeeeeeeaaaalllly small. Almost didn’t see it. Needs to be a little more obvious I think or people won’t get it.

The Play button worked find when I hit it off the main menu. But when I hit Learn first and then hit Play in the bottom right hand corner nothing happenned at all. However when I refreshed the whole site and repeated that process it loaded fine? Weird.

The different sized pop ups for your images are a little distracting, but that’s being really picky. It would be nice if they resized and faded in or something, though I understand why you’d want them in a separate pop up.

From the “Find” button there is no way to return to the main? Oh, I see, it is hidden in very light grey in the top right corner. Hard to see - it blends with the background on my monitor.

I love the mellow colors and the overall feel. The menu is a nice touch and the sound effects not overbearing. Nice work! :thumb:

I almost didn’t see anything on the home page. I hate splash pages in general, but if you’re going to have one you gotta make it look nice.

I liked it and all but the polar bear made my eyes go O_o or something liek that…very nice though

Ok, I adjusted the splash. Also, I made the nav buttons on “find” a bit easier to see. Are the buttons on “play” working?

Splash page much better. Like the logo of the bear by your name - more appropriate. Play seems to work just fine. :slight_smile: Buttons on the Find page are better, but I think to go along with the other pages they should be the same font as the other text on that particular page. I noticed you change that up a lot, and that’s fine, as long as all the text on a particular page is the same font.

Overall improved.

Question - The popups on “play” work in firefox, but not in IE. Here is the script I am using: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/centered_popup.htm

Any idea why they aren’t working in IE?

I like it, nice and simple - clean! Only comment: splash page? do you really need it? small site without many reqs… maybe just a redirect script or the like?
