Site Continuity

Hey everyone, was wondering if you might help me out. I’m working on the design of my company’s site and I think I’ve been looking at it for too long. What I’m going for here is to try and give each section its own color scheme to hopefully make the site more interesting to look at.
What I’m wondering is, do you think that I’m losing the continuity of the site by doing this?
here are a couple examples.

screenShots

Any input is appreciated.
thanks

I wouldn’t have the navigation changing as you seem to have in your screenshots but yeah changing the colours is fine, as long as you keep that kinda of faded shade for each colour that you’ve got going there. Looks good to me. Good Job.

Thanks for looking Flash Gordon. Forgot to mention that the gray menu seen in the first screen shot is the main menu, which is collapsible and can be accessed from anywhere in the site. The second screen shot contains a different looking menu which is the submenu for that section. Each section will probably have a different looking submenu to correspond with that section’s given color scheme. Hopefully this will be intuitive once you see the site in motion.
:tb: thanks

I’ve added the remaining section’s screenshots. Layout is all done as well as all the scripting for the basic movement of the menu and stage. All that’s left is everything.

I am feeling that…I like the style and colors very interesting indeed.

Sounds like something David Chappel would say in his white man voice… howdy doodie neighbor.

Anyway, yea site looses it’s continutity, and the only reason it does is cause of the nav. Oh… and the site changing to horizontal sorta makes it loose it’s cont. as well. But that could be because we’ve not seen it in motion. It’s good stuff though… keep it up

I like it, I think it has a lot of potential, once the motion is applied.
