im having problems with Ultimate Spiderman. why is it slow on my system. i mean i can play NFS most wanted, Doom 3, Age of Empires 3 flawlesly but when i play ultimate spiderman it’s slow…well im already using DX 9.0c and the latest drivers for my video card. i even used the lowest detail in the game hoping that it’ll run better. but nothing seems to change in the performance of the game. i can play all my other games well im only having problems with spiderman. i even defraged my PC and deleted temp files and it’s still the same. why is it like that? Here are the specs of my PC:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (socket 939)
nVIDIA GeForce FX 6600 128MB
512MB RAM DDR 400
80GB hard drive
Maybe check to see if your computer is reading all of your memory? I remember one time I upgraded to 1Gb memory and my computer wasn’t even reading one 512 stick…
my comp is reading the whole 512MB…i noticed that in certain areas the frame rate is acceptable but most of the areas in the game it’s really slow…it even crashes sometimes…
It’s probably the 512 RAM… tho I’m not sure of the actual requirements, that would be the weakest point of your system. They probably did a sloppy job like was said. I know that 512MB isn’t enough to run World of Warcraft, and they claim the minimum to be 256…
hhhmmm…yeah maybe it’s because of the programming. in the requirements it says that 256 MB minimum and 512MB recommended…i just can’t imagine coz i was able to play Doom 3 and NFS MW w/o any problems…well i believe it’s really the programming stuff…i’ll remove it for now and just play it again when i have the memory upgrade. im planning to buy another mem module hehehe…tnx for the replies
