i am looking for those small icons you get on message boards.

i need a load of them and i have done searches on google but i don’t find any good ones.

some thing like

Well, most of the small icons you see here on the boards are handmade.

Use microangelo or something like that and make your own icons instead of asking others to do it for you cough cough

The icons that you see on Kirupa’s site (as an example) come from Dark Project Studios - www.darkproject.com

They do several sets, more than the ones Kirupa uses. I think there’sprobably some links to other, similar sites there too… :slight_smile:

You need to have permission to use the icons from dark project studios, they’re not free.

Surely if you search on google and find some. You are using someone elses work. Hmmmmm ponders this one for a moment.

No - many icons on google are freeware or they require you to link back to the icon creator’s site. DarkProject explicitly wants you to e-mail them for permission prior to even thinking about using them :block:
