I’m really getting tired of being screwed over by ‘the man.’ Seems like everything happens to me two steps too late, or a great situation just blows up in my face.
We got a lot of snow overnight here at Penn State, and I woke up to my roommate’s mother telling him on the phone that classes were cancelled. (BTW, thanks mom for lookin out for us)
Some would rejoice - it’s a snow day! Right?
NO! It’s not just a snow day - it’s the worst friggin snow day in the history of my life.
I have stuff I need to do for classes tomorrow, as well as laundry, and before this ‘fine’ snow day came along - here’s what my schedule looked like:
Morning:
- Laundry/Write paper for english class
Afternoon:
- Grab lunch with my roommates, then finish up the paper.
- Take easy quiz in math class to help boost my overall grade.
Night:
- Dinner time, than read over Sociology notes and textbook, prep for test next week.
- Chat with friends online until bedtime.
NOW after the snow day announcement it looks like this…
Morning:
- Laundry/Write paper for english class
Afternoon:
- Grab lunch with my roommates, then finish up the paper.
- Don’t take easy math quiz, have this ‘missed’ quiz count as one of my 3 dropped grades of the 13 quizes.
Night:
- Dinner time, than read over Sociology notes and textbook, prep for test next week.
- Chat with friends online until bedtime.
THANKS A LOT FOR THIS WONDERFUL SNOW DAY!! :upset:
