Got myself the new Macbook 2.0 ghz Black Notebook this weekend and upgraded it myself to 2.0 gb of ram.
Anyways, I’ve used mac at school before at school and it was quite annoying, but now im starting to find all those annoyances actually VERY useful once you are forced to learn how to make it work to best efficiency
PROS:
- Notebook faster than my desktop ( less space n stuff )
- Mac OSX is to die for, I dont think im ever going back to windows
- Included basically everything I think I only had to download Mozilla / Thunderbird and a few other minor things, no dvd playing software ect…
CONS:
- These new notebooks heat up ALOT, I downloaded some new firmware makes the fan run more often but still pretty warm.
- Video/Audio Chats with MSN dont work, cant get audio to work with even 3rd party clients
- Onboard video is just poop but I had to deal with it
Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase and wouldn’t think twice to do it again.
Im starting to see why for design, Mac is superior in alot of ways.
