hm… I’m not asian and it’s hard to understand beauty of asian women. Well, you know, they look almost the same to me… different culture…
that can almost be classified as racist, but that is a very valid response. most asians could be said to all look alike, but unless you are one, i could say it’s fairly difficult to distinguish one asian from another. i wouldn’t know because i am one.

hey, white people look the same to me… especially white girls. Yet, I don’t see how that could be racist. Many asians look the same to me too… black guys… I get confused all the time. And I think to them, mexicans look the same too…
we have a special area of our brain that can identify 1000 different facial features and gestures. I wouldn’t be surprised if that got messed up as humans became isolated by continents.
well, i say it could be racist because it disrupts the whole equality thing. when you say a whole group is the same, looks alike, thinks alike, you are separating them from the whole.
besides, i didn’t say it was racist, but rather, pushing the line, keyword there being “almost”.

saying a culture looks a like shouldnt be rascist (though there are those freaks out there who would say it is - and you have to be aware and cautious of that). Look at the pigmies. Their average height is under 5 ft tall. No one will disagree with that - its what they are known for - being a short culture. You cant get on someones back for calling them short. They are. A pigmy might take offense to that as it could possibly, in his or her eyes, be seen as the pointing out of an emotionally sensitve inadequacy, though, then again, they probably dont care.

Saying “they” all look alike is not racist, it’s being ignorant. Saying you can’t make the difference is more honest and accurate. Saying you can’t see beauty at all in someone/something because it’s all the same to you denotes a concious decision not to try to evolve, learn, or understand differences. It reminds me of people saying all [insert genre of music her] sounds the same, or people who don’t like to read “books” etc… Those kinds of statements come from ignorance and ignorance only.
I have to admit that I find it kinda surprising and sad that it instantly turned into a cultural type thing as soon as someone (me) posted a non-caucasian girl on here. Why the need?

I’m not ignorant… my brain is just not tuned to recognize their faces as easily as it is to recognize hispanic faces. If I have close contact with a person, of course I’ll remember the face, but if I just take a cursory look at someone that’s not my own race, I can’t recognize it as easily. This a fact the people who draw suspects know… it’s easier to identify a criminal if he or she is your own race.
