Hey guys, I’m trying to buy the Adobe CS3 Web Standard edition from the local distributor here in the Middle East, but their prices are higher by around $250 than what the product is actually sold for in the US. They don’t offer any special service and this edition is not even localized. (No support for right-to-left text, etc).
Anyway, I was thinking about purchasing the product from the US and have it shipped to me all the way here, that would end up being cheaper. I am thinking of buying it from Amazon.com and use a carrier service to get it here (Amazon would not ship it abroad).
I’m wondering if the product will contain a product key attached to it. Cause some software do not come with any product key and you would have to register with an address in the US to get the product to work to verify your purchase. I hope that this is not the case cause that means that I would not be able to use the product after I purchase it.
Or should I just bite the bullet and pay the extra $250.
(Urgh, one of those things I hate about being home!!)
