hmm… for those who do sell their designs. I’m taking time off from school right now, and I think what I’d like to do in the meantime is start my own web design company - I’d love to do that kind of stuff full time. So I just want to know how do you go about it? how do you get clients, etc… what are the things you must watch out for (contracts, etc…)

Well… There are alot of things you need to watch out for…
First thing is first… Find your self a nice reliable partner… Maybe even 2 people… Not too many though… Or your profits will shoot down to the ground… Especcially in the start-up. Try to get two worthy people who enjoy the art or website design and who you can trust.
Clients come and go… Give out business cards… Send out your e-mail address with some business information, set up a website and send that around or just go around and tlak to companies and offer them some possible money figures and designs…
