this might be more of a browser or bandwidth question, but i figure i might get some interesting insights.
i created a site where these giant jpgs load into the background an slide around about 200k. the problem is that you can just keep on clicking on the links and it keeps on trying to load in the old jpgs, not visibly but into the cache, this totally slows down the download speed. not really a problem for a good strong connection, but i like to think of the little guys from time to time.
i’ve thought about disabling the ability to click on the next link until the image is loaded but that’s not very friendly.
any suggestions?
