Its been a while since my last post in showcase.
Anyway, my personal portfolio site is just around the corner, but ive hit a brick wall. I’ve been looking at/using my design for so long that I no longer like it, and now my mind’s all over the place. Kinda hard to explain, but I’ll show you some pics. Basically I’m trying to make a design for my site. I had a design, but im unsure about it now. Blah, i’ll just show you the pics.

-This is my original design. I was trying to go for a sort of, organic feel, to express the energy… the vibe… that excitement that’s hard to describe. The large green space is temporary, and will be replaced with one of my artworks tinted green-ish.

-This is the contender of my original design. I was going for a more, digital lifestyle type of feel. Really just a palette change and I added a little something to the bottom left hand corner. It has no real purpose, but it means something to me (look at my avatar).
I could not decide between the two and wanted a mix of both. So I came up with two mixture designs. They are just a few ideas, so Im not sure if the colours are out of place/seem odd.

-mixture/alternative 2. A bit different. I think I like the orange in the heading.
Id prefer the following colours to be in the design (which will match my identity colours)- green (the lime green), blue/cyan, Citrus orange (I like the vibe it gives off), then white with grey accents.
I know, seems like too many colours. Originally I had cyan, grey and white (a dark grey). Then I wanted to add the lime green. But then I wanted to add the orange. Argh, I dunno, I’ve been thinking too hard and its beginning to cloud my judgement.
Which one do you guys prefer/think looks better? Any alternative suggestions?
The colours are basically interchangeable (logo- both brush and paint streak, menu/feature section, heading, etc), so im quite happy to try out any colour schemes/combinations you guys suggest.
