is there a way to take a frame from a shape tween and use it else where? there are sometimes cool shapes that are formed, and it would be cool to use them elsewhere
click on that frame
Select the object you want to copy.
Right click on it.
Choose “Copy”
Go to where you want to put it
Right click on the stage.
Choose “Paste”
Voila
you can’t select it
it’s not on a keyframe
it’s in the middle of a tween
and if you say convert to keyframe, it screws up the shape
Why don’t you take a screen caption of it? If all else fails and you want it that bed, then do that.
are you sure it screw up the shape ?
convert the middle of the tween in a keyframe, copy what you want and undo - you should have your shape copied but tween being still okay…
I just tested it, it does screw up the shape.
That sucks :-\
Well… as EG said… screenshot is about the only way :-\
but when u ss it, doesnt that convert it to raster? that’s no good… oh well
Just create a new layer over it, then get your pen it out and trace over it using the “snap” guide. Then fill in the shape or whatever…
what’s the “snap” guide? The magnet?
it is.
um… i’d do it like that
go to that frame
make keyframe out of it
copy shape
undo creating keyframe
well, when i use the keyframe method nothing happens to my shape. I don’t see why anything should, anyway
i’ve test this and it works for me…
go to that frame, convert to keyframe.
select the shape, copy
open new file, paste it
go back to your shape tween, press ctrl+z(undo) many times until the keyframe dissapear and everything get back to normal.
