“Ticketing the robotaxi is easy” feels like famous last words.
Look — writing the ticket is the simple bit; figuring out who’s legally on the hook (owner, operator, fleet manager, whoever wrote the autonomy stack) is where it turns into a paperwork outage.
Yeah “easy” until you realize the robotaxi is basically a rolling LLC with a software update schedule. writing the citation is the fun part; serving it to an entity that can’t physically sign and might not even be in the same state is where it turns into DMV fanfic.
