[*]I went to check my checking account balance online today, and I noticed there is a charge to my account for $13.99. Apparently, ‘Bluemountain’ (e-cards site) took it upon themselves to take 14 bucks out of my account, for no apparent reason! I don’t even use that site, I used it once or twice, years ago… and I might’ve signed up for a FREE membership, but never for a paying membership. So now I have to try to get them to credit my account, but of course they’re gone for the day. Hopefully they will, because i’m broke enough as it is.
To add to that, PayPal took 2 dollars out of my account a few days ago without my authorization, and when I phoned them about it they said it was just a standard procedure, and the money would be credited, but that hasn’t happened yet, and it’s a few days later. :sigh:

On a positive note - so, earlier when I was thinking about this stuff, I looked out the window as the sun was setting… and I kid you not, there was this unusual but beautiful sunset that literally had a bright silver lining around the edge of the clouds… That may sound normal, but it wasn’t, I had never seen a ‘silver lining’ like that, so… it made me think about that old saying (every cloud has a silver lining), and that cheered me up a bit.
