As I cannot find the current thread for this, I shall continue here.
In the first thread created for the subject I was asking how do you create the subdomain names (subdomain.domainname.com) and one person said that you have to buy them seprate for you current domain name. (domainname.com)
But this was a yes or no depending on your host. As my old host (pencaderweb.co.uk) did not support a subdomain name in the format of *subdomain.domainname.com *but instead they supported this format *domainname.com/subdomain *of which is just like adding another folder to the main directory.
After I switched hosts (chrisphp.com) I noticed after 1 or 2 months of using it supported the subdomain.domainname.com format. I was pleased with this, I am even more happier because I have 499 of these subdomains left. [whisper] I think anyway [/whisper]
Here are some quick demos:
My current domain:
http://www.chrisphp.com
My subdomain:
http://www.support.chrisphp.com
Now, I am still unsure that google buys new subdomain names or if they have many of these included with their package. This question is ignored if they host their own website.
Thank you for reading! :bounce:
