Come on all you Discworld readers, step out in the clear! What’s the last Discworld novel you’re read, which one’s your favourite, why? Who’s your favourite character? How does the Librarian communicate at library meetings? What’s that smell?
I’ve just read Mort, great book, great book. And I’m currently about to finish Guards! Guards!. I’ve just bought Reaper Man and Men At Arms, boy am I excited about reading them! I think my favourite Discworld book so far is Small Gods or maybe Pyramids. Favourite character? Hmmm, tough one, maybe Nobby or Death.
Oh, and if anyone is unfamiliar with the Discworld line of novels you should go to your local bookstore or library and ask about The Colour of Magic, the first Discworld novel. Discworld is a flat world which is situated on four giant elephants who stand on the back of a giant turtle that is moving through space and looking forward to something. Sometimes when reading them you laugh so hard you snort milk onto your book.
