I liked it :slight_smile: First of all, the actress is stunningly beautiful :drool: I hope she doesn’t turn out like Keira Knightley any time soon. Sure, the story is not as well written as the previous ones, but still I was constantly surprised in this movie (not only the main twist, which is kinda predictable, but also the counter twist and the counter counter twist). M Night Shyamalamalalan is a very gifted director :awe:

I just saw The Village and… WOW. I loved it, I have no words. it is amazingly cool, the best movie of the year until now… I was really expecting another thing from the movie, but now that i’ve seen it, wow, really nice performance from the actors and really good story, it could be real, that’s the point

I remember seeing it. The movie itself had an interesting concept, definitely an original one. Surprises are definitely expected from a Shymalan movie.

i saw it yesterday with my gf and liked it.

(although I really expected another kind of movie from the previews)

not the best movie of all times, but IMFO worth viewing.

i thought it was actually a good movie but the previews, posters, and so on were misleading. i didnt enjoy it because i expected to be scared, but was let down by a, (while clever) dull twist at the end.

like i said, good movie, dont expect anything and youl enjoy it.

I gave The Village a four out of five. The reason I didnt give it a five, was because the creatures weren’t real :a: .

Cute movie, isn’t it? :slight_smile: It was a big hit over here (I guess you could compare it to Good Bye Lenin, which disappointed me just a little bit. It was good, but I heard too many good reviews about it, and I think I set my expectations too high).

L’auberge espanole … cute movie indeed. Made me feel kind of sad that the summer is over now. I got the DVD on saturday and we watched the french version about 4 times so far :stuck_out_tongue:
