Timer/ length of animation lag?

Hi

I have only the swf of a few old animations with no AS in them just looping so I’m loading them into my portfolio within a play container.

IE, it plays runs a interval timer then stops at the end

but I get different results interms of default test, and download test and not sure which to trust.

… is there a simpler way of doing this? I’ve heard of things which decompile swfs, could I use that?

I have a few sounds in which I’ve muted, so it may help to reduce load and process usage if I hack into my own swf
