Dunno why, but for some reason, when i use the italicize tag in my external text file, the italicized text won’t show up on-screen. The <b> and <u> tags work just fine, but the <i> tag is causing some weirdness. Has anyone had this happen before, or does anyone have any suggestions? thanks.
try, <em> your txt </em>, i dont know for sure it will work, but you can atleast try it,…

I’m using Verdana, and I didn’t have to do anything special to embed the bold font, so i’m at a loss. Anyone else got an idea?
test.htmlText = “<i>Hi” works for me, when “test” is a dynamic textbox with html enabled. I have mx 2004, so I don’t know whether it works in mx.
