Tryout to old version problems

Any help would be much appreciated:
I recently tried out the MX2004 version, but then decided to reinstall Flash5, and now I can’t open MOST of my .flas (“unexpected file format”), and also my flash player is acting wierd-- I downloaded player7, but it doesn’t open my movies. It’s just a blank white screen.

HELP!! I don’t have ANY idea what’s wrong!!

Files you save with MX 2004 are only backwards compatable with MX, Not 5, and only if you choose to save as Flash MX.

Thanks for replying! :thumb:

So, is there a way to save my files? because the tryout has ran-out.

Hm… I’m not sure if it would even be possible to get a converter tool from MX2004 back to 5. My only suggestion is to find a corporate serial number out there for MX2004, or ya know… buy it.:sigh:

Maybe try installing the updates for mx. I know with 7.1 it gave you 30 more days.

Thanks for the reply. I’m gonna try it and let you know what I come up with!
