So I have this LCD TV I bought about 6 years ago. At the time, it was a pretty big investment. I paid about $2k USD for it so at the time it was a lot of money.
Now obviously you can buy a much better TV then that one for a fraction of the cost. The issue I am having is my TV is messed up. What happens is out of nowhere you get these lines through the display, causing the picture to be unwatchable. It started happening a while ago, and is getting worse and happening more. It can last up to an hour or two and pretty much happens every time I am watching something or playing video games. Usually it goes away after about 10 or 15 minutes or so.
Has this happened to anyone here? If so what did you do? Did you try and fix the TV or did you just buy a new one?
If I didn’t pay so much for the TV, honestly I would have bought a new one already. I didn’t want to buy a real nice TV until I bought a house, so I was hoping this would last for another year or so.
