UIScrollBar setScrollTarget not working

I have a movieclip that contains a TextField and a UIScrollBar. When I try to link the textfield to the scrollbar with myScrollbar.setScrollTarget(myTextField), it doesn’t work, any ideas, I’m using as2 in cs3 with flash player 9
