I have been trying to figure out how to do this but still having zero luck!
I have a flash file “contentHolder.fla” place on the root of the directory. Another file “photoGallery.swf” which is under the gallery folder loading XML and images under the same location as the photoGallery.swf
Please note that I do not have the source file of the photoGallery.swf
The PROBLEM:
I was trying to load photoGallery.swf into contentHolder.fla but since photoGallery.swf’s codes referencing to the same level to load the XML, throws an error " Stream Error. URL: …/rootFolder/images.xml"
I am using the photoGallery for multiple categories reason for why they should be in folders and not in the root directory. I was hoping _lockroot would solve the case but unluckily this was no longer available in AS3.
Just FYI - I am using the gallery for TUIO multitouch and cannot find another alternative gallery online
