okay so Yale and Johns Hopkins just admitted their AI detectors were trash and disabled them. but here’s the thing: that’s not a solution, that’s just admitting the old security theater didn’t work. the real question is what comes next. are they actually redesigning how they teach and assess, or are they just shrugging and accepting that everyone’s using Claude now?
because “we gave up on catching it” is different from “we figured out how to teach around it.”
