I’m new to this software. Am putting together my first site copy. Using Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX. The issue I’m having trouble so far with is, when I create a Flash button on my D/W page, do the editing for the button, and set the link to the page I want the button to link to…the buttons dont want to link to the pages when I go and test it out in my browser via F12. ALso, what should I be setting the “Target” as in the button edit block? Thanks for all the help in advance!
well first of all im getting the impresion your trying to make the link in DW when you should be making the links in flash using actionscript if this is the case then you need to make the links in flash if you need help search the tutorials or let us know 
but search first and then post what you dont understand so we can help ya out
I’m still lost! Like I said above guys, I created the buttons IN Dreamweaver MX and, theyre on the pages already. Can I open Flash separately and, make the changes through Flash that way? If so…how would I do that? I’m totally new to this stuff if you cant tell and, I need it in as close to layman’s terms as possible. Thanks in advance!

Well, Target is not important at the mo…
There can be many reasons why they dont link… first check for typos… If the link is outside you page you have to remember to put the ‘http://’ And remeber, if the target page is within your site just make sure the adress is correct, it should work if there is no typos, if you can post a screen shot of the button Options and all you worte, I might be able to help you more…
