Using the ignore user feature

i wonder how many people are using this feature?

Is it practical to check this off, and never hafta deal with those that annoy you, or is it a hinderance since you can’t see what they are saying? Im considering using this feature, and i recommend it to anyone who has problems with any particular poster on this board, including me.

there are a couple of users on my ignore list. They don’t do anything against the rules, and I don’t respond well to them, so I just choose to ignore them, and most of the threads they post in.

I am ignoring a few people on this forum, most of them are either from the random or ordered forums. I get along with everyone from the other forums, usually they are just here to get help and not cause any trouble. I am not going to post the people I have on my ignore list even though I am sure some of you know who the obvious ones are.

Kirupa was the first person on my ignore list, then lost and phil! Just playin :stuck_out_tongue:

I use it. I use it to block felon’s like dan here. dan. you’re a felon. Please help me spell that correctly. Is it double L? I can’t even remember…

None of those people you listed are on my ignore list. Actually I just took a lot of people off of ignore, all but one, Mr. MIT if you really want to know.

Apparently vbulletin doesn’t want to be a good sport about it.

I mean what kind of error message is courteous like that… “Sorry! Terribly sorry, you can’t do that. I apologize… really. I just… well, you know. I’m sorry.”

I dont use it… I don’t find it necessary. I’ll read people’s posts, but I’ll just ignore them. Like Mr Raise my hand here…
