Right click on your picture file, go to “Open With”, in there go to “Choose Program”, check the “Always use this program to open this kind of file file” checkbox, and then select “Windows Picture and Fax Viewer” as the program to open it then hit OK.
Ok, I did a very quick search and I read a few times that Windows 2000 uses Internet Explorer as it’s default Image Viewer. (which is what all previous versions of Windows uses as well)
you could get Irfan View, it’s a little freeware program that’s really good for looking at jpegs, other images and even sounds. It loads so quickly, and if you have a whole directory of pics, you can just press space to cycle thru them. I love it…
