Bah!
I recently formatted and saved things I needed to keep to CD. I had about 130mb left on a RW CD and tried to write a slightly larger video file to it (about 140mb). I never got an error message or told that I didn’t have enough space… so went ahead and formatted.
Now the problem - the video file was important and I cannot play it - it says it is corrupted, obviously because I didn’t have enough space - which I have just realised.
However I do not need all of the video, mainly just the bits at the start that should have been saved to the CD.
Is there anyway I can make it play, even if the end is missing ?
Edit: the file type is .avi
