Wacom Intuos reading-height?

I’ve searched around, but I’ve not been able to find a firm answer. I’ve used a 12x12" Intuos 1 (GD-series), and it had a 10mm reading height. I’m currently looking to buy a smaller 9x12" Intuos 1, but I need to know if the reading height is also 10mm.

I’ve looked through the Intuos manual on the Wacom site, and it says 6mm for ALL Intuos models, even though I KNOW that’s not true.

Can anyone give me a definitive answer?? Thanks in advance.

I’ve had 3 different tablets in 4 years and the difference in reading height is not hard to get used to. I have the 9x12 and i’m not sure about the exact height but it reads from fairly far away. Sorry no definitive answer here

Yeah… I use a Graphire3 with a 6mm height, but I want an Intuos 1 or 2 for the 10mm height.
