I got an email today from a client who is telling me the website we just finished is cool and all but that she can´t see much with her blackberry and that she needed options to display the website.
The first thing that came to my mind was: “WAP…?” :puzzled: Honestly I thought WAP was like obsolete but after doing a little research I found out about WAP 2.0 and new ways to create WAP websites…my questions are:
- Are people still making WAP websites?
- Is WAP the best option now to display a website in a mobile phone? (except for iPhones and stuff that shows the actual website)
- Am I the one who is obsolete by forgetting completely about that technology? (my country has terrible mobile technologies, this is a weid case of someone asking for that).
