Waves of a swimming pool

Greetings To All:

I am so new to flash mx(in fact never used it, I feel really stupid) I really want to learn, but I don't have the cash to invest for schooling. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about making what looks like waves of a swimming pool? I am helping my bro-in-law make a homepage for his website to sell pools. Thanks to all.

the better the effect (for the effect in the last post), the more mask you’ll be using (incrementing the difference between the images/masks by 1 px each time) which means it will be cpu intensive…
